One of South Africa’s finest and iconic restaurants, the stylish and romantically intimate ambience of the Cape Colony Restaurant makes for the perfect venue to meet some of South Africa’s finest wine makers during an evening of gourmet delight.
Executive Chef, Ian Mancais, has teamed up with some of the most talented wine makers in South Africa to create wine gourmet evenings with a distinct difference. Chef Mancais will be sparring for attention from the kitchen via a live video link broadcasting on plasma screens in the restaurant, while the wine maker of the evening is showing off perfectly matched wines for each delectable dish.

28th August –Mulderbosch
25th September –Beyerskloof
16th October –Waterford
27th November –L’Ormarins
The Cape Colony Wine & Dine Evenings are priced at R295 per person and include the paired wine with each course.
Bookings are essential.
For those who ‘just can’t get enough’ of the featured wine estate or who sadly cannot make the special wine maker-hosted evening, the Cape Colony is also running a winter promotion with each estate per month.
