We welcome 'Woman Winemaker of the Year' and top Franschhoek producer Susan Wessels and Vrede en Lust to join them for yet another of our hugely popular Match Made in Heaven dinners of great food and fine wine.
We have concocted a five course dinner to match Vrede en Lust’s award-winning wines but will you be able to guess which wine goes best with which course? Work with your new ‘table team-mates’ and see if you can figure out the perfect ‘Match Made in Heaven’ and win fabulous prizes.
An evening of good food, good wine, good friends and lots and lots of fun!
Cost: R250 per person (payable in advance to guarantee place)
Includes: Glass of fizz on arrival, five course meal, 6 bottles of wine per table of 6 people, tea or coffee, service charge, prizes and heaps of fun!

Hot and Sour Mushroom Soup
A mildly spicy soup flavoured with aromatic Lemongrass
and pieces of exotic mushrooms.
Tuna Encrusted with Black Pepper
Seared Tuna rolled in Cracked Black peppercorns served
with a peanut and sesame dipping sauce.
Warthog Kebabs in a Sweet Soy and Ginger Dressing
Slow cooked warthog kebabs marinaded and cooked in soy, ginger,
Five spice and served on a bed of egg noodles.
Cream Cheese and Fig ‘Maki’ Rolls
Cream Cheese and chopped sweet preserved figs wrapped
in seaweed and toasted sesame seeds.
Glazed Orange and Date Wontons
Grand Marnier-glazed oranges and dates bound in an almond paste,
wrapped in wonton pastry and quickly deep-fried.
