On the 18th of August The Singing Fig has decided to spoil all their patrons with a wine tasting from the very popular Slaley wine estate.
Lindsay Hunting, the owner from Slaley comes from generatins of ship building spannning 126 years, and a history of aeronautical manufacture dating back to World War 2.
Slaley cellars was conceived when Lindsay's grandfather bought a wine farm in Stellenbosch, and so it is that the themes of earth, sea and sky propel the labels from this infant winery.
All our patrons will get to sample a selection of 5 of their wines, and then when they sit down for dinner they can order some of the wines from this award winning estate at a discounted rate.
All their wines on display have achieved 4 stars or more from John Platter.
We will also have an award winning pianist performing, and we are exhibiting art for a charity, so we are encorporating all the senses.
We won't offer a set menu, patrons can order from the normal a la carte menu.
