Immerse yourself in the richest floral kingdom on earth at this fynbos-themed workshop on 16 September at 27 October on the Babylonstoren farm.

Of the six floral kingdoms in the world, the Cape’s iconic fynbos region is the smallest and richest, with the highest known concentration of plant species within its perimeters. This is your chance to experience Babylonstoren’s beautiful fynbos up close, in a sensory experience guided by master botanist, Ernst van Jaarsveld, and Babylonstoren conservation ecologist and entomologist, Arné Stander. You’ll encounter the classics like proteas and ericas. You’ll see various fynbos adaptations of the resilient plant families such as buchu, Cape reeds, daisy and iris.

Please meet us at the Farm Shop.

NB: Please wear comfortable hiking shoes/boots as we will be hiking up the Babylonstoren koppie.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Greenhouse Restaurant is included.

Only 16 spaces available.
