Fruit-tree pruning workshop at Babylonstoren

A good trim goes a long way to ensure a good crop of fruit next season! Spend the day learning from Comine Joubert, our pruning pro at Babylonstoren, as she guides you on how and where to prune fruit trees – be it peach, plum, quince or fig.

She will get down to the details of the different stages of tree shaping to develop the structure, from year one to year ten. And then it’s over to you – grab a pair of secateurs and practise the technique on a tree in our garden.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Greenhouse Restaurant is included.
