The Swartland Olive Festival is a premier annual celebration held in the picturesque twin towns of Riebeek Kasteel and Riebeek West. Scheduled for September 25th - 27th, 2026, the event honors the region's rich agricultural heritage and world-class olive production.
Centered at the Riebeek Kasteel Town Square, the festival offers an immersive sensory journey where visitors can indulge in Wine and Olive tasting, Live music, chef demos, a Product Market, and a family-friendly kids' zone.
Friday: 4pm - 10pm | Saturday: 10am - 9pm | Sunday: 10am - 5pm
What to Expect
- Expert Tastings: Sample award-winning extra virgin olive oils, table olives, and artisanal tapenades from top Western Cape Olive and Wine producers.

The event kicks off on Friday evening with an Olive Festival Street Party in Plein Street, now part of the festival site. This includes Food vendors, Long table dining, Street performers, and a DJ party.
