Run, hike and dress like a leopard! Join Walk for the Wild on Saturday, 9 May 2026, for a unique trail experience on the slopes of Delheim Wine Estate in Stellenbosch supporting the conservation work of the Cape Leopard Trust and the Greater Simonsberg Conservancy.
By participating, you’ll help raise awareness and support conservation efforts that protect leopards and their fragile mountain habitat, helping ensure these magnificent animals continue to roam our mountains for generations to come.
Enjoy a scenic 10 km hike or trail run along Delheim’s Leopard Trail, with sweeping views over the Stellenbosch valley and the landscapes these elusive predators call home.
Join the dress-up fun
Come dressed in your best leopard outfit for a chance to win the Best Dressed Leopard prize.
To enter:
- Take a photo of your full leopard outfit on the trail
- Post it on Instagram
- Tag Delheim, Greater Simonsberg Conservancy, and the Cape Leopard Trust
Winners will be announced on Delheim’s official social media platforms.

Trail runners start: 08h00 sharp
Hikers start: Rolling start from 08h00 – 10h00
Best dressed entry closes: 09h00
Participants are welcome to hike at their own pace. Please note runners must start at 08h00.
Your ticket includes:
- A Delheim wine tasting

- Access to Delheim’s Leopard 10 km trail, one of the most scenic routes on the estate
