Stellenbosch Reserve has always been about more than what’s poured into the glass. Nestled on the sun-drenched slopes of the Helderberg, the tasting room and restaurant offer sweeping views across vineyards and mountains. A setting that invites visitors to slow down, savour the moment, and connect with the landscape that inspires each bottle.
From Sunday, 8 March, that experience extends to the table with a generous Sunday family-style lamb lunch designed for sharing. At the centre of the feast is a beautifully roasted leg of lamb, served with comforting favourites including roast potatoes or rice, pumpkin fritters, green salad, baby onions and rich lamb gravy.
Available every Sunday for tables of six or more, the lunch celebrates the timeless pleasure of gathering around good food in a relaxed setting. With Stellenbosch Reserve wines, alongside selections from the wider Stellenbosch Collection portfolio, including Donkiesbaai, Afrikaans and Cirrus, guests can settle in for an afternoon that unfolds at an easy pace.
At its heart, the Stellenbosch Reserve experience is about connection to the land, to heritage, and to the moments shared around a table. It’s a reminder that wine is not only something to be collected or analysed, but something to be lived. Beyond the bottle lies a sens.e of place, a story worth lingering over, and an invitation to experience Stellenbosch in its most authentic form.
Bookings are essential and close the Friday before each lunch, allowing the kitchen to prepare each roast with care.
