Set beneath the oaks on the historic Spier Werf, Vadas Smokehouse and Bakery brings together ethically raised meats from Farmer Angus and seasonal vegetables from our Food Garden, served with the kind of generosity that makes you stay for seconds (and thirds).
Expect a generous sharing platter of smokehouse favourites, fresh-baked bread and a decadent finish that’s worth saving space for.
- Farmer Angus ham with mozzarella, melon and curry leaves
- Smoked olive and feta focaccia with whipped feta and za’atar
- Fig and walnut bread with house-made butter and fresh figs
- Heirloom tomatoes with capers, pickled fennel and basil
- Smoked and roasted pork belly with apple ketchup
- Smoked Moroccan chicken wings with dates and labneh
- Roasted beetroot salad with goat’s cheese, pistachio dukkah and pickled berries
- Roasted butternut with honey chilli and soy dressing + smoked pumpkin purée
- Mange tout and pea salad with lemon, almonds and yoghurt
