Celebrate Valentine's Day at Bouchard Finlayson’s POP UP Wine Experience with the Perfect Pairings offer.

Bouchard Finlayson celebrates the power of connection this Valentine's Day with Perfect Pairings – an exclusive offer featuring the unique flavours of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley at its POP UP Wine Experience in Hermanus. Couples are invited to slip away for a bottle of one of its flagship wines, Galpin Peak Pinot Noir 2023 or Missionvale Chardonnay 2024, complemented by our Overberg Larder Platter, bringing together the finest cured meats and hand-crafted cheeses by small-batch artisans from the region. Rooted in Burgundian tradition and elevated by South African spirit, these are wines to be savoured in special company.

Galpin Peak Pinot Noir: Winner of a 2025 Michelangelo Wine & Spirits Award, Galpin Peak reflects the mastery of terroir, time, and care that defines the Estate. Elegant, structured, and finely textured, with red cherry, spice, and earthy undertones, this is a collector’s wine, crafted to endure.

Missionvale Chardonnay: A perfect expression of the Hemel-en-Aarde terroir, Missionvale is produced exclusively from grapes grown and harvested on the estate, taking advantage of the valley’s cool maritime climate to produce a Chardonnay that balances textbook minerality and citrus notes on a foundation of well-integrated oak richness.

About the POP UP by Bouchard Finlayson

The POP UP by Bouchard Finlayson brings the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley to Hermanus village as the Estate temporarily closes to undergo a world-leading transformation. Enhancing the experience is a Valley menu shaped in partnership with local artisans, reflecting the region’s deep culinary heritage. Visitors can enjoy hand-crafted cheeses from Anysbos, Stonehouse and Klein River; charcuterie from Richard Bosman; Mardouw estate-grown olives; Oskar’s fresh baguettes; Van Blommenstein’s biltong; and other thoughtfully sourced Overberg favourites.
