A Relaxed Valentine’s Picnic on the Lawns
For those who prefer something more informal, our Valentine’s Day picnic offers a laid-back way to celebrate love, surrounded by vines and open skies. Guests are invited to unwind on the Nederburg lawns and enjoy a thoughtfully curated picnic, perfect for sharing at your own pace.
The picnic begins with an Artisan Picnic Board, featuring a selection of locally sourced cheeses paired with marinated olives, seasonal fresh fruit and homemade onion marmalade, served alongside crisp lavash.
This is complemented by freshly baked artisanal bread, accompanied by whipped, flavoured butter.
For mains and salads, guests can look forward to:
Sun-dried tomato and cream cheese chicken roulade, tender and delicately flavoured
Beetroot and red onion salad with a light yoghurt dressing
Sweet potato, cranberry and feta quinoa salad, finished with parsley and a gentle citrus lift
To end on a sweet note, the picnic includes silky chocolate pots de crème, served with strawberries dipped in rich dark chocolate.
