At the newly refreshed Geuwels restaurant, Christmas lunch honours the warmth of family gatherings and the flavours that define Cape festive traditions. Head of gastronomy Michelle Theron draws on childhood memories and the rhythms of the farm to craft a three-course, family-style feast filled with heartfelt simplicity.
Expect pasture-raised lamb lacquered with fynbos honey, garden vegetables still fragrant with morning dew, and herbs picked at first light. Platters are placed at the centre of the table, inviting hands to reach and stories to rise. A Christmas that feels both comfortingly familiar and beautifully new.
