The Movie
Shrek is a 2001 American animated fantasy comedy and the first in the Shrek series. Starring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, and John Lithgow, the film follows the grumpy ogre Shrek, whose swamp is overrun by fairy tale creatures banished by Lord Farquaad. With the help of Donkey, Shrek agrees to rescue Princess Fiona in exchange for reclaiming his home.

What to Bring
Pack a warm jacket for the evening chill. If you think you might get uncomfortable during a longer movie, consider bringing a pillow. Our backrests are perfect for leaning against, but the cushion is not very thick, so extra support may be helpful. You’re also welcome to bring a picnic blanket for under your legs, as well as your own blanket if you prefer.
