The better your soil, the better you eat.” Dr Ernst van Jaarsveld, renowned horticulturalist and Babylonstoren’s own succulent expert, is passionate about rocks and their geological ancestry. Join him for a highly informative talk and tour in his beloved Welwitschia rock garden, and learn how to create your own rock garden, inspired by the Karoo succulent garden at the 2025 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
You’ll also get to hear the sound of ancient rock music on Babylonstoren’s own klipklavier (rock piano) and dig into the soil when planting your own succulent.
Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival.
