Adamastor Moss Garden Tour at Tokara - Garden Town Stellenbosch

During Garden Town Stellenbosch 2025, Tokara will be offering guided tour of the Adamastor Moss Garden for a limited time only. On 31 October and 1 November 2025, there will be a tour of the garden every 30 minutes. A ticket for the Moss Garden tour will also give you access to the Private Farm Garden.

The Adamastor Moss Garden, the most recent addition to the farm's collection of natural marvels, is a magical space of plush, muted tones and quietude. Created by moss artist Gert van Tonder with local sandstone, granite and mosses from the surrounding terrain, it shares the beauty, humility and harmony of the zen gardens of Japan, yet remains quintessentially Tokara. The remarkable integration of stone and indigenous mosses and fynbos has matured into a magnificent, enchanted refuge.

The entry fee of R50 per person is payable at the farm gate.
