Back by popular demand, Vergenoegd Löw’s Jazz Under the Stars promises an unforgettable evening of music, food, and fine wine on Friday, 31 October. Tickets are already in high demand, so secure yours early!
Set against the estate’s serene winelands backdrop, the night features Moonshine, the celebrated jazz ensemble led by acclaimed saxophonist Dan Shout. With their signature style of “jazz with a kick,” Moonshine takes audiences on a lively journey from the Roaring 1920s and Swingin’ 1930s and 40s, through to the Rock and Roll and Motown icons of the 1950s and 60s. Expect tributes to legends such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole.
To complement the music, guests will enjoy a Cape heritage-inspired feast created by new executive chef Michelle Theron and her team. Award-winning wines by talented young winemaker Vusi Dalicuba will be available throughout the evening at special prices. You could even stock up for the festive season.
The event, to take place at Clara’s Barn, runs from 18h00 to 22h00 at R950 per person, including the performance, a welcome drink and canapés as well as a three-course meal.
