An intense, engaging and information-rich 2-day course, covering everything needed to pass the SASA Foundational Exam. Aimed at team leaders wishing to enhance the guest experience through elevated wine service or someone setting foundations for a career, this offering is for you.

The 2-day Apeirogon Foundational Wine & Service course is information-rich, engaging and fun. It provides all learning necessary to pass the corresponding SASA exam taking place on 22 September.

Day 1 – Wine Theory
Day 2 – Wine Service

Foundational Wine and Service

By the end of the course the participants would have developed theoretical and practical understanding on the following topics:

  • Cultivars, Viticulture and Winemaking
  • SA Wine Regions
  • Other Beverages
  • Wine Service Etiquette
  • Guest Interaction
  • Wine Assessment
  • Food & Wine Pairing

Course Cost

R3380 per person. Includes all training materials, SASA Exam, Membership, Certificate and lapel. Exams certified by the South African Sommeliers Association (SASA).
