The stage is set! It’s full-steam ahead to one of the Cape winelands’ biggest shindigs – the 2025 Wine Town Stellenbosch celebration of wine, from 26 July to 3 August.
Happening over nine days, Wine Town Stellenbosch offers unparalelled access to the country’s top wine estates and wines. Events are hosted on farms and along the famous tree-lined avenues of Stellenbosch itself, and builds towards the Stellenbosch Wine Festival, on the weekend of 1 and 2 August.
Here, some 60 of the country’s best producers present over 200 wines for tasting, served alongside a traditional harvest table of divine bites, curated by chefs Bertus Basson and Adel Grewar.
Wine Town Stellenbosch is a culmination of experiences and activities hosted by wine farms, restaurants, tour operators and guesthouses. Among them are specialised wine tours, workshops and curated vertical tastings as well as winemaker lunches and dinners, specials at restaurants around town. This includes Happy Hour daily from 17h00 to 19h00 at selected wine bars and restaurants. The full programme of Wine Town Stellenbosch activities will be announced shortly.
A major feature of this year’s celebration is celebrating 100years of Pinotage.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience Stellenbosch and Stellenbosch wine in all it’s glory, this is the occasion.
