What to Expect
Educational Insights
Cape Wine Masters Conrad Louw and Brendan Butler along with winemakers Miles Mossop and Sheree Nothnagel, will guide you through the intricacies of carbonic maceration. Learn about the differences between full carbonic and semi-carbonic methods, as well as the effects of whole bunch versus destemming on the final product.
Tasting Experience
Savor a selection of wines (a minimum of 4 flights, totaling 16 wines) produced using these different techniques. Experience firsthand how each method influences flavor profiles, aromas, mouthfeel and longevity.
Interactive Discussion
Engage in lively discussions with wine experts and fellow participants. Share your impressions and deepen your understanding of this innovative winemaking process.
The tasting will run from 17h30 – 20h00 at the Jordan Wine Estate Conference Room.
