Dirtopia
This is a fun social walk where you’ll be treated to a mimosa with Lady Alice MCC on arrival. The total hike loop is 3.5km on the trail that leads to the look-out point, where there are views of Simonsberg and Table Mountain in the distance. Please note that the trail has over 200 steps up & down and is not a flat 'walk in the park'. Here there will be two white wines and two red wines to taste from Muratie Wine Estate.
Bring good (closed) walking shoes, backpack with water, hat, snacks (if you like), jacket and of course water bottle. This is a relaxed event with lots of socializing and so that you can enjoy the vineyards, wineland scenery and Stellenbosch outdoors!
The Trail Centre will be open early for snacks and cold drink sales. Please note that any drinks before, during or after the walk is for your own account.
Start and finish at Dirtopia Trail Centre, Muratie Wine Estate, Stellenbosch. Registration is from 08h30, so that we can start the walk by 9am and will be back by 11h15/30.
R150 per adult and kids under 18 are R75 and will receive juice instead of wine. Your ticket includes a day permit for marked route and wine tasting on top of the mountain.
