The Cape Wine Auction (CWA) one of South Africa’s premier annual charity events, and a much sought after ticket on the social calendar will take place on 12 February 2022 at Quoin Rock.
The Cape Wine Auction - the social calendar event of the year - is an exhilarating global showcase of South Africa’s finest wines and a chance to buy things that money can’t ordinarily buy - all for a great cause. The Cape Wine Auction 2020 raised more than R17 million at a spectacular event at the Boschendal Wine Estate. This amount – together with the R88 million that has been raised since the first auction was held in 2014 – means that the wine charity auction has amassed a staggering R105 million since its inception.
The Cape Wine Auction is a roving event. We like to keep things fresh and interesting, and we are utterly spoilt with the beautiful wine farms that surround us. Each year the event is held in a different farm, giving guests the chance to explore new and magnificent venues.
