Each year between January and March, the Cape winelands become a hive of activity during the official harvest season. On Saturday, 7 March 2020, Mellasat Vineyards will open their gates for the Run the Vines and Tread the Grapes Festival.
Run the Vines starting times are 17km - 7:15, 10km - 7:45 and 5km - 8:00
Tread the Grapes Festival starts from 09:00 – 17:00.
Join in the harvest fun after your run! With activities such as grape stomping, tasting young wine from barrel, cork golf, vinotherapy foot massage, wine tasting, delicious food and entertainment for the kids including a jumping castle, apple bobbing and more.
If you are not running, then start your festival with our gourmet breakfast on the go, which will be served from 8:00. Our delicious lunch menu will be available from 11:30 – 16:00.
