Relax on our lawns, under the stars and the Stellenbosch night sky, with breath taking views of the Stellenbosch mountains at sunset from Jordan Wine Estate. Enjoy our specially created picnic baskets, which serve two people and is filled to the brim with delectable treats and love, from The Bakery at Jordan.
As the sun sets, a fire show courtesy of The Psychedelic Theatre, will keep you entertained!
Your basket will include our freshly baked, wood-fired ciabatta, Cape seed loaf and tahini bread with sesame and fennel seeds, to be enjoyed with a selection of charcuterie, including Italian Coppa, Proscuitto, South African biltong and salami and locally produced hard and soft cheeses like Camembert, Brie, Stanford and Boerenkaas. This will be accompanied by our homemade preserves and spread including a mixed pepper and feta paté, chicken liver & brandy paté, beetroot humus.
It doesn’t stop there...
Enjoy smoked snoek and melon salad du jour, grilled and marinated pineapple skewers with cilantro and a citrus dressing, and a tarte tatin of apple, roasted shallot, bacon & goat’s cheese in a buttery pastry.
Finally finish off on a sweet note with a delicious Tiramisu!
