Spend an extraordinary afternoon & evening together with friends and family. The Grand White will without a doubt, once again be known as one of the most prestigious events in South Africa, come 2019!
As the title implies, the Grand White has a dress code of white, with a touch of colour for the Rainbow Nation. This is the core concept of the picnic as the colour white is symbolic of peace and unity. Beige pants are allowed, as well as shorts. White shoes are not required, but a neutral colour is encouraged. Anything off-white is also allowed. Prizes are up for grabs to the best-dressed male and female. No black jeans are permitted.
A ticket to the event includes entry, one bottle of 750ml Haute Cabrière Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2017, Grand White’s traditional white serviette for the opening ceremony, fire sparkles for the closing ceremony and an extraordinary entertainment line-up. It also includes the chair/part of a table, but excludes all food and drinks (other than the Chardonnay Pinot Noir).
The event takes place come sun or rain. As such guests are advised to be prepared to cover against rain and a cold evening.
Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic basket or purchase them online from Grand White’s catering company. Champagne, wine and other drinks can be purchased from the bar at the event. Those interested are advised to note that upon arrival, guests are seated on a first come, first served basis for the unreserved tickets, according to the area they have booked.
Guests are further encouraged to bring their own table decor.
