Winemaker Bertho van der Westhuizen is only the 5th winemaker in the Estate’s 100 year history, having grown up on the farm under his father, Schalk van der Westhuizen’s tenure as Alto winemaker. Thus a family affair, the pair being one of two father-son winemaking pairs
in the history of the estate.
As such we’d like to invite you to join us at an exclusive 3-course dinner with Winemaker Bertho van de Westhuizen. Paired with four Alto wines selected by the father-son duo, the meal will be curated by the acclaimed Hemelhuijs chef, restauranteur and interior designer, Jacques Erasmus.
