13 October is officially Pinotage Day and to celebrate we’re dedicating October to this quintessential South African varietal.
Simonsig released its first Pinotage - that also happened to be its first red wine - in 1970. Today we boast a range of four different Pinotage styles, namely our everyday, easy-drinking Simonsig Pinotage; our award-winning, full-bodied Redhill Pinotage; our Cape-style blend and a tribute to our founder Frans Malan; and our elegant Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé bubbly.
