By partnering with wine producers in the Boland region to once again make the annual festival a memorable affair, Boland Cellar will treat visitors to a family-fun day and activities to suit every individual’s preferences. Guests can look forward to starting the harvest season in the Cape Winelands to the sounds of local musos, Twee and Newton and Co.; enjoy young wine tastings, craft beer, refreshing wine slushies or get creative with Henna tattoos.
Kids can enjoy the supervised play area and face painting while parents and other wine lovers can browse the day’s wine specials at the tasting room. Food trucks boasting the latest food trends and delicious eats are on standby to satisfy both peckish and more substantial appetites.
Day passes to all participating wine producers are available online via webtickets.co.za at R150 per person and includes a special tasting glass. Tickets are also sold at the gate on the day from 09h00 at R180 per person. No alcohol for sale to children under 18.
