The event will begin with a guided tour through our Boschendal Norval Art Gallery.
Community activist, foodie and laughing yoga practitioner Kimon Bisongo will host a panel of exceptional women as they explore the many ways in which women make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large. Other panel members include Ncumisa Mkabile, a young regenerative farmer and UNICEF ambassador from Khayelitsha; Natasha Liesner from fashion rental outlet Style Rotate; Rukaya Mansoor, head of research and development at SKOON; and Boschendal’s award-winning female winemakers Danielle Coetsee and Andiswa Mapheleba. Our speakers will be sharing their journeys, challenges and takeaways of being fierce female leaders in their areas of expertise.
Join the conversation as our speakers unpack the challenges faced due to the pandemic as well as what it takes to make a business successful in South Africa. The chat will conclude with an uplifting laughing yoga practice, after which a light finger-food lunch, boasting some of Boschendal’s best soil to fork fare, will be served.
