In September 2024, the Kleine Zalze Restaurant celebrates our diverse and unique South African food heritage with their Heritage Sunday Lunch.

During the month of September the Kleine Zalze Restaurant will celebrate our diverse and unique South African food heritage! The entire kitchen team contributed to this month’s menu and various cultures and food traditions are represented throughout the menu.

The heritage menu starts with steamed bread and roosterkoek served with biltong butter, chakalaka, and apple and sultana chutney. The starter is followed by a second course of tomato smoorsnoek-filled baked potatoes. For a main course we are serving braised beef shin on samp with thin sauce and soft steamed vegetables. Dessert is the ever-popular Malva pudding with condensed milk and rooibos custard.

The September Kleine Zalze Sunday lunch is served with a complimentary glass of Kleine Zalze Cap Classique. We trust that you will enjoy the union of these cultural flavours with us!

The Kleine Zalze Sunday Lunch is R425 per person for four courses. Please note that booking is essential, either via DinePlan or by calling us on 021 880 8167. We also offer the Kleine Zalze Sunday Lunch as a vegetarian option.
