The 2025 harvest season is upon us, and Durbanville Hills is excited to once again offer wine enthusiasts a unique, hands-on experience to celebrate the journey from vine to wine.
Join Durbanville Hills for an unforgettable evening or weekend as we open our doors to offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the 2025 harvest. Every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5 February to 15 March 2025, our cellar will come alive with the sights, smells, and sounds of harvest, giving you an inside view of the winemaking process that has made Durbanville Hills a respected name in the wine world.
Exclusive harvest tour and tastings
Your experience begins with a glass of our Durbanville Hills sparkling wine, followed by a guided tour through the cellar, where you’ll gain insight into the intricate and collective effort it takes to create our wines. Taste the fermenting juice directly from the tanks and sample wines straight from the barrel, just like our winemakers do.
Blend your own wine
Unleash your inner winemaker with our fun and educational wine blending experience. After a short tutored session on how different cultivars and wine styles harmonise, you’ll have the opportunity to blend your own red wine, bottle it, cork it, and take home a personalised bottle of your creation.
Exquisite food pairings
The experience culminates with a delectable two-course dinner at The Tangram, our award-winning restaurant, paired with wines from the Collectors Reserve range. For those joining us on Saturdays, enjoy a relaxed tapas-style lunch at The Olive Grove, accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine.
