Join on a Wednesday or Thursday evening or spend your Saturday in the company of fine wine as the cellar will open its doors for a sneak peek behind the harvest scene and what it takes to make our award-winning wine.
What to expect at the Durbanville Hills Harvest Tour
- Cellar tour and must tasting: After a welcoming glass of Durbanville Hills’ sparkling wine, the cellar tour will offer a glimpse into the winemaking process. Taste the fermenting juice (must) directly from the tanks and sample wines, like our winemakers do, directly from the barrel.
- Blend your own wine: After a short wine blending tutorial, where you will learn how certain cultivars and wine styles harmonise better than others, you will blend and cork your own red wine to take home.
- An exquisite wine pairing dinner: The evening events will conclude with a two-course dinner paired with wines from the Collectors Reserve range at the cellar’s award-winning restaurant, The Tangram, whilst the Saturday harvest experience includes a tapas-style lunch at The Olive Grove with a complimentary bottle of wine.
