Heritage Day Braai Picnic At Hazendal

This Heritage Day, gather on the lawns at Hazendal Wine Estate for a celebration of South African flavour, family and the enduring tradition of the braai. The Heritage Day Braai Picnic brings together a beautifully prepared picnic basket filled with local cheeses, charcuterie, garden-inspired salads and South African favourites, complemented by live-fire cooking straight from the braai.  

 

Expect Monkeygland-marinated beef sosaties, apricot and rooibos-glazed chicken, smoked bacon and cherry “Looies”, alongside a Vleiswinkel Boerewors Bar serving three regional takes on a South African classic: Heritage Wors, Kaapse Wors and Karoo Wors. Settle onto the lawns, enjoy lawn games, let the little ones play and raise a glass to the flavours and traditions that make South Africa home.  24 September | 12:00  Available at R450 per adult | R250 per child.
