La Motte
Inspired by owner and well-known mezzo-soprano, Hanneli Rupert’s love for classical music, the programme of monthly concerts includes an exceptional variety of acclaimed international and applauded local artists, seasonal themes and a warm invitation to enjoy La Motte’s winelands hospitality.
Guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine and some light refreshments in the estate gardens between 17:00 and 18:00. Concert are presented from La Motte’s renovated Parshuis or Historic Red Wine Cellar and starts promptly at 18:00. Please note that seating is not reserved.
Make the most of your visit to the Franschhoek Valley and stay for dinner at the estate’s L’Ami Family Brasserie, a short stroll away from the concert venue. A special concert and dinner package is available at R945 and entails a concert ticket as well as a three-course menu with a glass of wine from the La Motte Classic Collection. A lively programme to echo the new life and energy of Spring in the Franschhoek Valley. Entitled Spring Awakening, this programme features short pieces by Popper, Piazzolla, Pärt, Casado and Saint-Saëns, sonatas by Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms and Rachmaninov and a Bach solo.
