Spring vegetable growing workshop at Babylonstoren

Babylonstoren prides itself on the seasonal fruit and vegetables that abound in our garden, and we are happy to share our secrets! We have the spring fever, and that means sowing vegetables in time for the hot months.

Join Babylonstoren’s vegetable team, Gundula Deutschlander and Tenecia Stevens, in the vegetable garden where they will demonstrate their top growing tips and tell you more about crop rotation, no-dig soil preparation, compost, mulches, propagation and planting. The workshop will focus on preparing for the summer months while considering crop rotation and companion planting, how to nurture your soil and keep a check on pests.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Greenhouse Restaurant is included.
