Martjie Malan, the master baker and food enthusiast at Babylonstoren, will celebrate the delights of waterblommetjies, the Cape pondweed synonymous with winter cooking in the Boland.

From the beloved waterblommetjiebredie to more unexpected uses for this indigenous delicacy, guests will taste its remarkable versatility.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at The Byzantium is included.
