Harness the power of liquid gold at this Babylonstoren workshop where you'll learn the art of using honey as a key ingredient in baking. Presented by Martjie Malan.

Harness the power of liquid gold in your baking at this hands-on workshop at Babylonstoren where you’ll learn the art of using honey as a key ingredient in baking with master baker Martjie Malan.

Learn to use the natural sweetness of honey in baking, adding moisture and a warm flavour to your baked goods. Depending on the type of honey, it adds floral, caramel or fruity notes to desserts. Honey also keeps baked goods moist for longer and adds a tender crumb and slightly denser texture.

Join us in discovering the enchanting route of honey and use it to create the most delicious granola, Russian honey cake and lemon and honey burnt butter cakes.

Please meet us at the Farm Shop.

Steaming coffee from the Farm Shop is served upon arrival. Lunch at the The Byzantium is included.

Only 24 places available.
