Following the success of last year’s event, Brett Bailey and Third World Bunfight will once again present "The Routes of Sound" at Spier Wine Farm in Stellenbosch from 26 to 28 September 2025.
Music has always had its place at Spier and for a bite-sized sonic experience, "The Routes of Sound" highlights a compelling mix of exceptional and original performers. This year’s line-up includes Giuliette Price, Taleswapper, Ntokozo Zwane, Odwa Bongo, and Jak Thomas.
In addition to the diverse performances, guests will also be able to enjoy award-winning wines from Spier’s Creative Block collection as they meander between acoustic sets.
Groups of 30 will rotate along two paths that move through a selection of Spier’s most atmospheric spaces – ranging from the historic Manor House and the Old Wine Cellar to The Cowshed and other cosy hideaways.
The experience culminates in a concert with The Herbie Tsoaeli Quintet, with Herbie on bass and vocals and Buddy Wells on sax.
To ease into the experience, early dinner bookings at Vadas Smokehouse and Bakery or the recently opened Veld Restaurant are encouraged.
Times:
- Friday and Saturday: 19h30
- Sunday: 15h00
The cost is R300 per person and include wine tastings along the way.
Note that comfortable walking shoes are essential – groups will move between venues.
