Escape to the Paarl winelands to enjoy a romantic Valentine's dinner on 14 February at the Bistro at Brookdale Estate.

Couples are invited to book their table-for-2 on Friday 14 February, with a choice of seating in the cool of the air-conditioned restaurant, or on the terrace overlooking the vineyards.

Celebrate sunset on arrival with a complimentary glass of the limited release Mason Road Cap Classique, before embarking on a culinary journey to explore Chef Gary Coetzee’s summer menu.

Order from the seasonal a la carte menu and select your personal choice of light, or meatier dishes, providing more exciting options than the standard set menu offered by most restaurants on Valentine’s Day.

Starters include refreshing gazpacho; twice-baked cheese soufflé served with a waldorf salad; a choice of three flavourful tartare dishes; or charcoal-fired prawns. Main course options include line-caught pan-seared fish du jour; confit leg of duck and crisp breast; or vegetarian miso aubergine; as well as red meat dishes of tandoori lamb rump; venison loin; beef fillet; or char-grilled pork chop. End on a sweet note with Cape Malay koesister; Brookdale Snickerbar; banoffee tart; or basque cheesecake.

The dining experience is complemented by an exciting wine list. The list not only showcases the Brookdale and Mason Road ranges, but also includes other interesting wines from the Paarl region and beyond.
