We’re proud to host an upcoming presentation by Prof Harold Herman, activist and former Dean and Emeritus Professor of Education at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), who now serves on various boards.

Prof Herman will share the history of the farms Vergenoegd Löw, Meerlus and Zandvliet, and their contributions to the local wine industry, against the backdrop of the Dutch and British colonial eras and related sociological developments. Inputs and discussion among members of the audience will be welcomed.

After the address, the team from the restaurants on our farm - Geuwels and Clara’s Barn - will serve sharing platters laden with mouth-watering Cape heritage food.

The Vergenoegd Löw collection of fine wines will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
