Vadas is thrilled to announce exclusive Earth-to-Eat Winter Dinners, celebrating the suppliers who make our farm-to-table philosophy possible, on 29 June and 27 July.

Led by Chef PJ Vadas and his talented team, the Earth-to-Eat Winter Dinners will showcase the best of local, sustainable, and ethical produce from four of our exceptional suppliers:

  • Farmer Angus: Based on Spier Wine Farm, Farmer Angus produces grass-fed, pasture-reared beef, pork, and eggs using biodynamic and regenerative agricultural practices. Their focus on natural, hormone-free, and antibiotic-free farming ensures the highest quality produce.
  • Lowerland: Located in Prieska, Lowerland is dedicated to producing natural, nutritious products while working harmoniously with nature. Their sustainable and regenerative farming practices prioritise soil health and biodiversity, offering innovative solutions to agricultural challenges.
  • Spier Food Garden: Megan McCarthy and her team have transformed one hectare of old horse paddock into a thriving food garden on Spier Wine Farm. Using eco-friendly and regenerative techniques, they grow delicious, nutrient-rich produce without inorganic pesticides or artificial fertilisers, promoting a healthy food system.
  • Abalobi: By supporting the local Abalobi 'Fish with a Story' initiative, we offer seafood with full traceability and a low carbon footprint. Abalobi is committed to driving social, economic, and ecological change in small-scale fisheries, ensuring ecologically responsible and socially fair seafood choices.

Experience a culinary journey that honours the Earth and its bounty with these dinners at the Manor House. Indulge in a multi-course menu expertly crafted to highlight the flavours and stories behind each ingredient. Each dish will be thoughtfully paired with Spier wine, enhancing the dining experience and celebrating the best of our local terroir.

The menu is dependent on the ingredients provided by our suppliers and will be confirmed closer to each dinner.
