It's the 10th annual Cullinan Wine Festival and again we have divided the wine festival into two different events, namely the Winter Wine Festival and Summer Wine Festival. Each focusing on wines ideal for the specific season.
During the Winter Wine Festival, taking place on Saturday, 1 June at the Premiermyn Hervormde Kerk grounds in Cullinan, estates from all over the Western Cape will gather to showcase their top wines.
Being winter, one can look forward to beautiful red wines, Port, Sherry, Muscadel, and Hanepoot as well as a variety of liqueurs, whiskey, brandy, and cognac.
Participating wineries include Balance Wines, Bonnievale Wines, Boschkloof Wines, Montpellier, Opstal, Riebeek Cellars, Simonsvlei, Vrede en Lust, and more.
Of course, no festival will be complete without its market. Various stalls selling handmade arts and crafts as well as great food.
Tickets to this event include a wine glass and unlimited tasting from 09h00 to 18h00 well as the live performances by various artists: Carla Lee, Vincent Gordon, and Gerhard Supra.
The event will also host a 3-course dinner with wine paring at 19h00 to round off the experience. Be sure not to miss this annual gathering!
