Toast with the locals, when the ever-popular, Stellenbosch Street Soirees return to the streets of the City of Oaks for some laidback mingling with fellow food and wine lovers this summer. Not only home to the most awarded wineries in the country, Stellenbosch is also consistently recognised as South Africa’s leading culinary destination.
As many look forward to every year, the Stellenbosch Street Soirées unfold as a vibrant sundowner occasion centred on mingling, tasting and snacking. A portion of Drostdy Street is closed off from traffic and decorated in elegant festive style.
Food is supplied in the form of stalls selling light bites while each evening also features a different selection of wineries. This means that wines available throughout the series will change.
Added to the setting is the all-important ingredient of live music and with that, every evening is perfectly made!
Each Stellenbosch Street Soiree features a different selection of cellars and street fare caterers and entry costs R190 per person which gets you a glass and 10 wine tasting tokens.
