For Christmas Eve, Jordan Wine Estate in Stellenbosch will be offering a Christmas Eve harvest-style picnic dinner where you will join them for a sit-down dinner on the deck with a beautiful view of the dam. Unpack your baskets filled to the brim with delicious food prepared by The Cellar Door while listening to live music.
Be welcomed with a drink before making your way down to The Cellar Door deck of Jordan Wine Estate.
Each couple/two people sharing will receive a picnic basket filled to the brim with delicious treats to unpack and enjoy a harvest-style dinner.
Each basket contains:
- Locally sourced charcuterie, including Ryan Boon biltong
- A selection of locally produced hard and soft cheese: Dalewood Camembert and Brie, Klein River Stanford, De Pekelaar Boerenkaas.
- Jordan Estate pickled olives, homemade preserves, and spreads: Aubergine atchar, spiced apple chutney, and a savoury whipped butter.
- A freshly baked bread selection of herbed focaccia, Cape seed loaf, and ciabatta
- Individual homemade beef short rib and miso pot pies
- Grilled chicken and Mediterranean kebabs
- An orange and parmesan salad with walnut, dried cranberry, and poppy seed dressing
- An Amarula panna cotta with dark chocolate and berries
We won't let you leave empty-handed and each basket will have a special gift for you to take home.

Kiddies under the age of 8, can enjoy a Hawaiian pizza, juice box, giant cookie. To ensure they stay entertained we will also be giving them some bubbles, a Christmas cracker, a Chameleon colouring book, and crayons.
