After a 2-year break due to the pandemic, WWF will again be hosting an Earth Hour Adventure. Participants will navigate their way to hidden checkpoints dotted across the picturesque Plaisir de Merle Wine Estate.
You, along with family and friends, can get into the spirit of Earth Hour (26 March) by participating in this orienteering-style 5 km adventure dash through the beautiful Plaisir de Mer Merle farm, one of WWF’s Conservation Champions, situated at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain between Paarl and Franschhoek.
The adventure provides a breathtaking experience of diverse and rich fynbos vegetation and a wide variety of exotic bird and small buck species. All while getting your adrenaline pumping in support of our planet!
After all the action, enjoy a wine tasting or a delicious meal or picnic at Plaisir de Merle's market while you bask in the knowledge that you have done your bit for nature - and had some fun doing so!
