One picnic basket offering feeds two people and includes a delicious selection of locally sourced charcuterie including Ryan Boon biltong together with hard and soft cheeses like Dalewood Camembert & Brie, Klein River Stanford and De Pekelaar Boerenkaas. The platter is accompanied by Kalamata Olives from Stillebosch Olives, in-house preserves and spreads like curried baba ghanoush, spiced apple chutney, smoked snoek paté, brandied chicken liver paté and savoury whipped butter with a selection of in-house baked rosemary & garlic focaccia, Cape seed loaf & gratinated brioche buns.
And it doesn’t stop there, you will also receive individual homemade beef short rib, miso pot pies and beetroot & feta, thyme & mojo marinated free-range chicken tartlets with red onion marmalade and toasted sesame seeds, plus a refreshing orange & parmesan salad with walnut, dried cranberries and poppy seed dressing.
Finish the evening on a sweet note with festive Amarula eggnog with dark chocolate shavings, served in a jar.
