In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Creation is hosting a Ladies’ Pink Tasting on Saturday 27 October. Guest speaker Doctor Justus Apffelstaedt, specialist breast cancer surgeon and former professor and head of the Head, Neck and Breast Cancer Unit at Tygerberg Hospital, will speak about breast cancer as well as his work with Reach for Recovery’s Ditto Project which has provided numerous women with prostheses in an effort to restore their confidence post-recovery.
The Ladies’ Pink Tasting will take place from 10:00 – 12:00 and will cost R150 per person which includes sparkling wine and breakfast canapés. The full cost of the ticket will be donated to Reach for Recovery’s Ditto Project. RSVP before 25 October: salome@creationwines.com or 028 212 1107.
