Heritage Day is the iconic celebration of diverse cultures, traditions, and history. Here at Lanzerac, the Grande Dame is synonymous with old-world charm and rich Cape heritage, dating back to 1692 and nestled in the foothills of the idyllic Jonkershoek Valley of Stellenbosch.
This year we invite you to take a seat at our long table where an abundant feast awaits, reminiscent of time-old tradition. Indulge in sharing plates served to the table, with dishes such as lamb rib bonbons, springbok scone pie, and pampoenpoffertjies, to name just a few. And with re-imagined delicacies like milk tart eclairs, dadelvingers, and malva pudding, executive chef Stephen Fraser and his esteemed team will ensure masterpieces created for a celebration.
Join us this Heritage Day on Tuesday, 24 September 2024, for an alfresco dinner on the Taphuis terrace, overlooking the Manor House, at 17h30. The cost is R1750 per person and the dress code will be "Elegant Formal".
