It is a known fact that Shiraz, with its sweet and spicy nuances shares a unique flavour bond with South African game meat, creating a unique tasting experience.
Seven Days of Shiraz & Venison traditionally centres around 21 August, South Africa’s National Shiraz Day, and the seven days following this date. However, several events take place on one or certain dates only with some participants opting to extend it for the entire month of August.
Programs vary from feasts of Shiraz and game to winemaker-led tastings of rare vintages, quick and simple pairings for fast visits, savoury and sweet culinary innovations and much more.
