The course covers the basic elements of wine service that is expected to be handled comfortably by hospitality professionals according to international standards, including; preparations for service, wine service procedures, good practice, wine faults, client interaction, break-down and preservation after service.
The course is taught over two days, followed by a third day of examination independently administered by the South African Sommelier Association.
