As ever, we will move, after Mass to La Pineta on the R44 for lunch. La Pineta do not charge corkage for the day so you are free to bring your own wine however La Pineta do have a fine wine list to choose from. If you plan to bring your own wine it might be a kind gesture to bring a bottle for Andre, “Mine host”, who has looked after us all these years. The meal, of course, is for your own account.
If you can make it please let me know so that we can give Andre a rough idea of how many people he needs to cater for.
Most Winemakers and Distillers bring a bottle of their produce to put into the Offertory Basket at the church entrance. These donations will go up to the altar with the Offertory Procession. The bottles are shared amongst the clergy after Mass. A sort of “dopstelsel!”
